On 21 March 2014 in celebration of the Autumnal Equinox, the Pearly Beach Ratepayers’ Association was privileged to host “The Pearly Beach Affaire” – a Food, Wine, Crafts & Music Fair on their new village green.
This was a non profit event for the Association, held with the express intention of bringing our community together. Matt Hurter graciously acted as compére, sharing not only his musical abilities, but also showcasing some of the local singing talent in the area. Stephen Bernhardt, a local artist from Gansbaai sang a great mix of songs, including two requests for Vice Gill numbers..
We were also grateful to have Chris Barnes from B’bos performing for us, proving that he is a man of many talents! Sincere thanks to all those who helped with the organisation of the event, in particular to Gansbaai Tourism and our local Ward Councillor Dudley Coetzee, for their help, support and enthusiasm. Thank you too to our exhibitors. We hope we can persuade you to return to our “Affaire” next time!
