Treat Mom to a Special Mother’s Day Lunch
This Mother’s Day, we’re rolling out the red carpet (and definitely not the dirty dishes).
At the end of 2025, the veldfires devastated farms, rural communities and the beautiful Fynbos Biome.
Our florist, Nayna, was one of many affected. Large parts of her cultivated fynbos were lost, and for a time she could no longer supply all of her usual clients.
Through it all, we were grateful that The Great White House remained one of only two clients she could continue supplying weekly during the aftermath.
While we occasionally filled a few spots with artificial flowers or sourced from other florists where needed, Nayna’s flowers are always our go-to for table settings to the beautiful big bouquets.
Supporting local businesses has always been important to us and we will continue to support Nayna wherever we can.
Today, she shares a few photos with us showing the devastation left behind by the fires.
Thank you, Nayna, for continuing to create beauty even after such a difficult season.
