The team at Gansbaai Health and Active have fast gained a reputation as a force to be reckoned with and regularly send contestants to various transformation and bodybuilding competitions where they do their town proud by bringing back trophies and awards. We are proud to say that 2 of our Staff members has represented South-Africa in international Competitions. We also have two members who obtained their SA apparel in Bodybuilding.
NAVY FIT:
A firm favourite with exercise enthusiasts of all levels. Navy fit classes is where you get to work every single muscle in your body while having a whole lot of fun. Navy fit encompasses military style, interval training that usually works on a rotation method. The short bursts of exercises will have you begging for mercy but will leave you feeling totally energised.
STEP:
A step routine choreographed to music that will keep even the fittest fitness fanatics on their toes. The class combines basic stepping and aerobics together with fitness exercises to ensure that you get a full body workout.
SPINNING:
A class that takes you on an indoor cycle ride on stationary spinning bikes, while being motivated by your spinning instructor. Your trainer will simulate cycling on flat roads then coax you up hills and down valleys after which you get to sprint and race. This is undoubtedly the queen of all cardiovascular classes and best of all is you get to do it regardless of the weather.
HYDRO BURN & HYDRO POWER:
This classes is a perfect mix of strength training and toning! basically a full body workout while making your workout fun! The best thing about this class is we use water bags for your workout. The water bag`s unpredictable movement and resistance provide a challenging and dynamic workout,engaging your core,arms and legs.This type of training is beneficial for fitness enthusiasts looking to enhance their teqnique,build endurance, and increase their overall physical fitness.
EASY FIT:
Easy fit is a low-impact, beginner-friendly fitness program designed for individuals of all ages and fitness levels.This class typically involves a combination of cardio, strength training and flexibility exercises such as bodyweight movements. Easy fit prioritizes progress over perfection,emphasizing fun,camaraderie and sustainable lifestyle changes over intense,high-impact workouts.
YOGA:
Yoga is a holistic practice that combines physical postures,breathing techniques and meditation to promote physical,mental and emotional well-being.Through a series ofgentle to dynamic movements,yoga helps to strengthen and stretch the muscles,improve flexibility and balance and calm the mind.
STRETCH:
A gentle class designed to increase your flexibility through a series of movements using the Swiss ball.
BODY SCULPTING:
A total body workout using dumbbells, aerobic bars, exercise rings, dynabands and a mat. The class begins with a warm up and ends with a gentle cool down.
PILATES:
A tranquil class designed to strengthen your muscles and stabilize your core. Learn the art of precision, control and technique, as you work your way to a better sense of well-being.
