The Lomond Adventure Weekend is taking place from 14 to 16 December 2024, at the breathtaking Lomond Wine Estate in Gansbaai. Known for its rugged terrain and spectacular vistas, this unique venue invites both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic newcomers to test their limits in an exhilarating off-road setting.
The weekend kicks off with a TRAIL RUN and MOUNTAIN BIKING on day 1. Our main event is the TRIATHLON on day two, as well as OPEN WATER SWIMMING and we end off the weekend with a NIGHT RUN on the last day, as the full moon lights up the Overstrand.
Participants will be able to swim in the estate’s pristine freshwater dam, ride some challenging mountain bike trails that weaves through diverse fynbos landscapes and rugged vineyards, offering stunning views of the surrounding Overberg region. Or run across the trails of this scenic estate, combining challenging inclines and natural obstacles with the beauty of the South African countryside.
