At Monica's Dog Grooming, every little fur baby is treated with love, patience, and plenty of cuddles. Monica’s passion for animals started at a very young age in a home where kindness and care for animals was always encouraged. In third grade, she rescued an injured cat named Kitsy, and from that moment her love for caring for animals only grew stronger.
Working at a veterinary practice gave Monica valuable experience in gentle handling, pet safety, and understanding how to make grooming a calm and comfortable experience for every dog. She truly enjoys spending time pampering her furry clients and making sure they leave feeling happy, fresh, and loved.
Monica mainly grooms small dogs and takes great pride in giving each one personal attention and care. Whether it’s a nervous pup needing extra reassurance or a playful little dog ready for a spa day, she treats every pet as if they were her own.
Before following her dream of working with animals full time, Monica worked happily for many years as a senior claims assessor in the life insurance industry with companies including Metropolitan Life and Computer Sciences Corporation. Although she enjoyed her career, her heart always belonged to animals, and starting her grooming journey has been the most rewarding decision she could have made.
