Natalie-Dominique Louw Artist & Writer

Born in Pretoria in 1955, Natalie-Dominique Louw has enjoyed a remarkable and varied career shaped by curiosity, creativity and a passion for lifelong learning.
In 1972, while studying towards a diploma in chemistry, she worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Agriculture. She later joined the Atomic Energy Corporation (now the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation), where her growing interest in law inspired her to pursue a BProc degree through UNISA, graduating in 1997.
Natalie-Dominique began her career with the Department of Justice in 1991 as a Senior Legal Administration Clerk. Through dedication and hard work, she progressed to the roles of Legal Administration Officer and, ultimately, Senior Department Law Advisor.
Away from her legal career, Natalie-Dominique developed a passion for high-performance motor vehicles. She competed in the sport of Blind Navigators rallying and earned recognition as a respected motor journalist.
In 2020, she left the corporate world in pursuit of a slower-paced lifestyle, allowing her to devote more time to her lifelong passions for art and writing. Today, she is an accomplished artist and author whose work reflects her creativity, imagination and diverse life experiences.
In her spare time, Natalie-Dominique enjoys collecting miniature cars and has assembled an impressive collection featuring brands such as Bburago, Schuco, Onyx and Hot Wheels. While the collection is not for sale, it can be viewed by arrangement and includes Ferraris, Alfa Romeos, Porsches, Formula 1 cars and many other iconic models.
