Celebrating One Year In Business

Our story: John and I met at an interesting point in both our lives. John suffered a big setback when all his carpentry tools were stolen - he lost his livelihood. I had just returned to SA for family reasons and was adapting my business coaching to my new lifestyle, working remotely. With John's potential and passion for woodwork, it was a great fit for me to start a micro-enterprise project locally. The one area where John and I connect most is that we like to change things for the better - he transforms piles of wood into custom furniture, and I have become passionate about upcycling. Actually, I didn't even know what upcycling was until I decided to ask John to convert some old cupboards into new furniture - a chest of drawers and some cabinets. Looking for ideas on Pinterest, I discovered a world of reclaiming, restoring, and repurposing old furniture. John is also a master craftsman when it comes to converting pallet wood into beautiful pieces of furniture. If you visit our page on Facebook, you will see several examples of everything from rough and rustic to french romantic and beach chic. When you are able to transform pieces of wood into useful pieces of furniture, it is a lot more affordable than buying new ones. So if you are thinking of giving your room a makeover or if you want a custom piece of furniture, go shopping in the local second-hand stores like Baai Gines, find the pieces you like, and come to us to create the look and finish you want.
Why buy new furniture when you can upcycle second-hand wood pieces or custom create recycled pallet furniture? Choose your style, from rustic beach chic to smooth modern. We will transform and create affordable furniture pieces so you can create the home look and feel you like.
