12 October 2024: Challenging Napier Mountain Hike

Summer seems to be here - well, almost! Join us for our next hike on Saturday, 12 October 2024, as we take on a circular route in the mountains above Napier. This 7.6 km trail is not for the faint-hearted, rated 7/10 difficulty and requiring a 7/10 fitness level. Expect some challenging terrain, including an overgrown single track, steep inclines, and a short 50m bundu bash.

But don't worry, the stunning 360° views of Swellendam, Agulhas, and Gansbaai will make it all worthwhile! There are also beautiful mountain fynbos to enjoy, including Ericas and sages.

Meet: 08h00 in front of the NG Church Hall, Church Street (off Sarel Cilliers)

Suggest using a high-clearance vehicle for the drive up to the Telkom mast where the hike begins.

Don’t forget your sunblock, good walking shoes, walking sticks, snacks, and drinks for our break at Sopies Hoogte.
