Bikes - Runners - Rock Concert

YETI Gravel Race will traverse some of the Overberg and the Agulhas Coast’s most legendary gravel roads in a three-day event from the 15 to 17 June 2023. Hosted by Lomond wine estate, just outside Gansbaai, the event is open to riders, runners, and their fans! All bikes are welcome, including E-bikes. But wait, there’s more! YETI Gravel Race is not just any old bike race, it's a bike festival! To keep the cold away and liven up the crowds, a Rock Concert will be thrown into the mix! Although the race village is at Lomond the area has more than enough accommodation available to suit all budgets in the area, this is one winter event not to be missed!

Each day of the YETI Gravel Race will have Strava segments where you accumulate points. The competitor with the most overall points wins the race!

  • Three-Lap Night CX Criterium (10km)

Day 2 / Stage 2 - Friday 16 June

  • Full Race Day (80kms)

Day 3 / Stage 3 - Saturday 17 June

  • Decompression Ride (40km)

Lomond will be hosting the YETI Gravel Race and Rock Concert!

Lomond Wine Estate is part of the Cape Agulhas Wine Route. The estate is set on sprawling farmlands that include a large dam filled with trout, a mystical Milkwood forest and a natural wetland that is abundant with plant and animal life. The Tasting Room@Lomond is open seven days a week and there is a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Celebrate life as you enjoy wine tastings and country-size ploughman’s platters which will keep you busy as you watch the day go by. 

For the more energetic, there are MTB tracks and trails for bikers to explore the surrounding mountainside and valley. Lomond Wine Estate is perfect for large and small functions and events. Furthermore, the estate is family-friendly and guide dogs are welcome.
