Derek will play his latest arrangements of Bach's solo violin works, works by kora master Toumani Diabaté, solo guitar versions of songs by Salif Keita and the incredible Malian singer Fanta Sacko whose work has been lost for thirty years, as well as pieces from his latest album Libraries on Fire. This concert will be Derek's last down South before he leaves for a month long tour travelling to Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Canada and the States, with a final concert playing solo at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
