Villiersdorp lies in the picturesque valley between majestic mountains and alongside the Theewaterskloof Dam (the largest dam in the Western Cape and fifth largest in South Africa). The town is situated amidst lovely fruit orchards and award-winning vineyards. Here one can enjoy nature walks, 4x4 routes, water sports, bass and trout fishing, and the popular yacht club as well as a variety of bistros, restaurants and cafés, amongst which is the only “moskonfyt” (grape preserve) factory in the world.
