About

8 Luyt Cottage is 5 minutes away from the tidal pool below the Marine Hotel and also the cliff paths.

Hermanus central is walking distance from the cottage and has restaurants, shops and is also close to the beach. Although town is so close, Eastcliff is a quiet, safe, secure and leafy suburb.

During the months of July to December – the whales are present in Walker Bay and you are guaranteed exquisite whale watching!! 

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate our guests’ pets.

Amenities

The rates are R1400 per night for the cottage (2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people only).

The cottage has:

  • Two en-suite bedrooms: the main has a large queen sized bed with a bath and shower, and the second bedroom has two single beds with a shower only (both of-course also basin and w/c).
  • The cottage is fully equipped, linen and towels included.
  • There is off-street parking.
  • A large wooden deck leading onto a private garden for outdoor living as well as braai (barbeque) facilities.
  • A safe for valuables and WI-FI. 
  • TV: Only normal SA channels. We cater rather for time away from television and the rat race.
  • PLEASE - NO SMOKING INSIDE.
