Join a dynamic and growing company in the Aquaculture environment. As the Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will be working with the Supply Chain Manager on the total stock control function, packing, and exports, and help with the day-to-day coordination and problem-solving.
Job Title: Warehouse Assistant Manager
Salary: Market-related
Location: Hermanus
• Full stock control function
• Effective warehouse management
• Effective staff management
• Financial management, reporting and administration
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. stock control, logistics management, production and supervision studies)
• 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience in a food processing/production environment
• General knowledge of store management and stock control techniques
• Good written and oral communication skills. Fluency in English and the ability to write and analyse reports
• Intermediate computer literacy in all modules of MS Office and Google Suite Software packages
• Results-oriented with the ability to continuously meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills
• Able and willing to work overtime, and night shifts and have a 24/7 availability
• Valid driver's license and own transport
