Standard Trails
Whether you've never been on a horse before or toughened by the saddle, our experienced horse riding instructor will guide you on our standard trails which takes you through fynbos, wild flowers and beautiful mountain scenery. Water and snacks are provided on all trails to keep you going. Duration of trails vary from 1 to 4 hours and can be tailor-made to suit your specific needs.
Celebrating a special event or just a great day out? The Standard trail can be customized into a picnic, braai, engagement shoot or just sundowners with your ride. (during peak season this option might not be available Nov - Feb)
Two Valleys Wine Route
Sample some of the best wines in the valley while on horseback.
Embarking from our stables to Sumaridge Wine Estate in the Upper Valley, your journey will take you on a circular trail through surrounding vineyards, feasting all your senses on the breathtaking views and smells of Fynbos as you pass the De Bos dam. Navigating through the rugged landscape brings you into the Lower Valley and here you find La Vierge Wine Cellar & Restaurant in a class of its own.

Sunset
There is a special magic in the air when the world goes to sleep. Join us on a romantic horseback ride and create a memory to cherish. Our Standard trail which departs late afternoon is all about soaking up the sun.

The Main Cottage
This unit comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 persons at a time.
The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower in a bath. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed with an en-suite toilet & shower. The third bedroom has 2 single beds and shares the main bedrooms bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests will need for self-catering including a built-in braai, kettle, gas stove with electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and enough cutlery for 6 people. The kitchen and dining area is part of an open plan with an extra flat screen TV. The lounge holds comfortable seating with a fireplace, full HD DStv & a DVD player.
Guests are also offered free Wi-Fi during their stay. Other features include a washing machine, ironing facilities, ping-pong, darts and much more. On the patio there’s an outside braai and seating for 6. There’s a couple of play structures for toddlers on the lawn.
