The South African Revenue Service (SARS) Mobile Tax Unit will be visiting Overstrand on selected dates in August 2026.
21 July 2023: Faulty LEU (Eye Testing Machine) at DLTC in Hermanus
The LEU machine at the Hermanus Driver's Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) is currently offline. This is a national problem.
These machines are used for eye tests and fingerprint capturing.
DLTCs are unable to process:
• learners or driving license applications
• renewals of driving licenses or
• applications for PrDP
The public will be advised as soon as the problem has been addressed.
