SASSA, Home Affairs and UIF Dates for September 2025

SASSA DATES FOR SEPTEMBER 2025

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will be in the Overstrand on the following dates from 09:00 - 15:00: 

4 September: Zwelihle Community Hall 

2 & 29 September: Blompark Community Hall, Gansbaai 

11 & 18 September: Moffat Hall, Mount Pleasant

16 September: Hawston Thusong

23 September: Stanford Community Hall 

25 September: Proteadorp Community Hall, Kleinmond

 Overstrand UIF dates for September 2025

We remind residents to bring all correct and relevant documents to avoid being sent home, as queues are too long for same-day assistance. 

The Department of Labour will be in the Overstrand on the following dates:

* Spaces for Sport Hall in Gansbaai:  

11 September 

* Hawston Thusong Centre: 

29 & 30 September

 (Department of Labour will assist those with surnames A-K on the first day and L-Z on the second. 

Clients will not be helped if they come on the wrong day.

* Kleinmond Town Hall: 

26 September

HOME AFFAIRS DATES FOR SEPTEMBER 2025

The Mobile Manager of DHA, Mzukisi Wapi, informed us about an issue with their mobile truck. However, he is of the opinion that they will be back on the road from 8 September 2025.

The Home Affairs mobile unit will be in the Overstrand on the following dates:

08 September 2025: Moffat Hall, Mount Pleasant

15 September 2025: Zwelihle Taxi Rank

17 September 2025: Stanford Community Hall

22 September 2025: Moffat Hall, Mount Pleasant

23 September 2025: Gansbaai Spaces for Sports

29 September 2025: Proteadorp Community Hall, Kleinmond

30 September: Eluxolweni Community Hall, Pearly Beach
