Updated SARS Mobile Unit Schedule for August ...
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) Mobile Tax Unit will be visiting Overstrand on selected dates in August 2026.
The SARS Self-Service Terminal (Kiosk) has moved to the foyer of the Overstrand Municipality offices in Hermanus, next to the Hermanus Library and Municipal Auditorium.
The interactive digital service is aimed at making it easier for taxpayers to access SARS services, meet their tax obligations and remain compliant.
Residents who require assistance can still receive support from staff members at the Socio-Economic Services Department (previously LED), situated opposite where the kiosk stands.
Services available at the kiosk include:
- Tax registration
- Retrieving and printing tax numbers
- Retrieving and printing SARS notices, including statements of account and penalty notices
- Registering for eFiling
- Accessing eFiling services
- Making payment arrangements for outstanding taxes
- Submitting supporting documents
- Requesting Tax Clearance Certificates
- General tax return status enquiries
The kiosk is available during normal municipal office hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 07:45 - 13:00 and 13:30 - 16:30
- Fridays: 07:45 - 13:00 and 13:30 - 15:15
