SANRAL training to assist local contractors to access opportunities within construction industry.
Overstrand Municipality's licensing and registration offices has currently only one staff member who is authorised to do vehicle registration and annual renewals in Hermanus and Kleinmond. The other officials in this section of the traffic department are in self-isolation or quarantine. Unfortunately, this staff member must travel to Kleinmond to man both offices.
The licensing and registration office in Gansbaai is not affected by this and is open.
For the rest of the week, 6 - 8 January 2021, and if nothing unforeseen happens, the Hermanus licensing and registration offices will be open in the mornings only from 08:00 - 12:30 and the Kleinmond licensing and registration offices will be open in the afternoons only from 13:00 - 15:30 for vehicle registration and annual renewals.
The amount of transactions varies between 30 and 80 transactions per morning, depending on individual or dealership transactions. Above interim arrangement applies to registering and licensing of motor vehicles, as well as annual renewals.
Other transactions can still be done at the Hermanus Traffic Department during normal office hours, Mondays - Fridays from 08:00 - 15:30:

• Learners’ Licences
• Temporary Permits
• Professional Driving Permits (PDPs)
• Roadworthy Certificates
