Overstrand Executive Mayor, Dr Annelie Rabie, Mayoral Committee members (executive councillors), the Municipal Manager and Top Management team are going to resume the First Thursday meetings after they were cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The 'first' First Thursday meetings will take place on 3 February at the Hermanus Municipal Auditorium from 17:00 - 19:00.
Residents will have the opportunity to engage with the Mayor and her team one-on-one, giving the public direct contact for dialogue on how the municipality can improve services as well as how the executive team can become more responsive to the needs of the communities that we serve.
No appointment is needed as the sessions will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis.
Kindly note, municipal accounts issues will not be discussed at this meeting. Public meetings to address the water meter reading issues will take place during February.
