According to Ward 8 Councillor Arnie Africa, small-scale / subsistence and commercial fishers in particular have faced serious challenges for many years and for that reason, Mayor Annelie Rabie would like to see how she and her Council may be able to assist and/or support fishers who earn an income mostly from crayfish, abalone and fish quotas.
