SANRAL Training for Local Contractors
SANRAL training to assist local contractors to access opportunities within construction industry.
With the upcoming public holiday long weekends, we are expecting an influx of holidaymakers and weekend residents looking forward to spending time with family and nature in our beautiful villages.
The influx of visitors and holiday residents puts increased pressure on the Municipality’s Operational Department Sewage Tankers responsible for the removal of sewage from conservancy tanks and soak-aways.
During the 2021 Easter Festive Season, the 12 vehicles tasked with removing sewage, received over 1 820 requests in this short period in the Hangklip-Kleinmond area.
Overstrand Municipality therefore requests that residents ensure a good lead-time is given when requesting this service.
Please do not wait for your tanks to be overflowing before you request service. It can take up to two to three days for service delivery.
Please ensure you request a reference number from the operator when you put in your request. When requesting a tanker service, please quote your erf number and/or your account number for farms.
