We are calling on residents across the Overstrand to put forward nominations for the 2022 Overstrand Municipality’s Inspirational Women’s event.
This event will recognise and honour the significant contribution that individual women have made in their communities and who demonstrated a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
This event, hosted by Overstrand Executive Mayor, Dr Annelie Rabie, will take place on Saturday, 13 August 2022, in Hermanus.
Attendance is limited to the final selected inspirational women and invited attendees only.
To nominate an individual, you will need to fill in a nomination form and submit it no later than 22 July 2022. Categories are: Leadership, Compassion, Creativity, Vision and Resilience.
The nomination forms are available at the Mayor’s office in Magnolia Street, Hermanus, or can be requested from your ward councillor. Their contact details are on the municipal website, www.overstrand.gov.za - click on About Us and Council.
All completed and well motivated nomination forms must be submitted to your ward councillor or to the Mayor’s office by 22 July 2022.
