Healing After Narcissistic Abuse: Rebuild Sel...
You’ve given so much - your time, energy, and love - to what felt like a bottomless pit.
We are complex beings, but one thing that is true is that we create the world we life in through our beliefs. Your beliefs are very different than my beliefs, and together we live our own life “in our own world”.
What is a belief. A belief is a story you tell yourself about how you want to live life. We start a belief because something happened in our life: either to us or we witnessed an event. In that moment we decide about how we will look at ourselves and how we will act in the future. The second we do that, our subconscious attach an emotion to it. Therefore, good memories will have positive emotions attached and the same is true for negative events and emotions. Then we move along in life, and the emotion will eventually become our “brain”. The moment the emotion kicks in, we start avoidance tactics.
Many of our beliefs stem from when we were toddlers, like the belief of I am not good enough. This belief could start from something as insignificant as: You have a younger sibling, and they took your toy. You are both under 5 years of age. And mom, who needed a moment of peace, said to you to give it to the “baby”. In that moment you made the decision to belief that you are not good enough, and today, 40, 50 years later, you still live by that belief. And over your life, you have built onto that belief.
The truth is, there is no good or bad, it is only because we decided so.
Now, we start or buy our own business and those old beliefs walk in through the door with us. If there is a place where you want to have your beliefs challenged, then it is in the competitive world of business.
What do you tell yourself, about yourself and your business?
The one belief every entrepreneur that I have ever worked with have, is the one of “I am not good enough”. That one belief can render you paralyzed. You hardly sleep and you are constantly busy with how NOT to fail.
You will sabotage your own progress. Most commonly people experience procrastination. The biggest cause of procrastination stems from your fear of failure and that is founded in the belief that you are not good enough.
I am sure that you have heard the expression: Energy flows where attention goes.
What that means is that your energy, your actions, will be in direct alignment with your belief – your point of focus. On a subconscious level you will behave in ways to make the negative belief come true. It gets to a point where we start employing the “right” staff to make this true for us.
Unless we change that belief, we will daily walk into a “war zone”, struggling and fighting to make it work. And it all started because of a belief we created.
But that does not mean that you are now tied to this belief for the rest of your life. Because in business, and therefore the entrepreneur, I know that you have the opportunity to change that negative, limiting belief for an empowered belief.
An empowered belief will change your actions, and change the success of your business. How can you start this process:
Do not allow yourself to be paralyzed by your beliefs. Instill powerful beliefs and programme the powerhouse that is your subconscious, to work for you daily.
Business can be fun if you create the supporting beliefs. I firmly believe that the entrepreneur is the future. Apart from the fact that we face more and more unemployment every day, it is evident that people no longer want to be just a number.
I offer and amazing programme to assist you in becoming the best version of yourself in your business.
