About

Launched in 1986 in Hermanus, Walkerbay Laundry is one of the longest standing and most well-established commercial laundromats in the Overberg region.

In 2014, Rolf and Denise Landes, owners of Walkerbay Laundry, expanded and moved their laundry processing site to Oak River Estate in Bot River. They now have a convenient collection service that will take your laundry to the processing site in Bot River and deliver it back to you timeously.

The Landes’ has grown the business exponentially, turning their 90 sq.m floor space to 600 sq.m and can now process and clean up to 300kg of laundry per hour.

Walkerbay Laundry is passionate about training, supporting and employing young adults from local communities and cooperate with Elonwabeni Child and Family Centre where they employ and train young adults in the foster care system.
