Areas that get grubby quickly and require regular cleaning must be painted with high-quality paint with good scrub resistance.
Satin/gloss paints are better equipped to withstand repeated cleaning than matt paints.
Test the scrub resistance of the painted surface by first cleaning it with clean water and your least abrasive material. You can also use paint-friendly cleaners like Prominent General Purpose Cleaner or sugar soap.
