Coffee @ The Well in Harbour Road Kleinmond is a child and pet-friendly coffee shop, restaurant and gift shop in one. Open for breakfast, lunch and everything in between, Coffee @ The Well is a home-from-home where the community and holidaymakers come together to eat, shop and enjoy good company. Whether you want a whale of a breakfast, a juicy burger, oven-fresh quiche and salad, or a quick toasty to-go, Coffee @ The Well will get your taste buds smiling. Sweet and savoury pancakes, flapjacks, scones and a selection of cakes are also available! The kiddies’ menu has favourites like Nutella flapjacks, mac ‘n cheese and pizza. If original gifts are what you are after, Coffee @ The Well stocks leather handbags and purses, costume jewellery, toys, vintage decor, and homemade products for the pantry. The venue is available for private functions for up to 30 people. Coffee @ The Well is not licensed to sell alcohol. You are welcome to bring wine to enjoy with your meal.

Coffee @ The Well was started by Riana Degenaar and her husband, Danie, in November 2022.

Riana is passionate about hospitality and is involved in menu planning with Chef Lee Shangara. Lee has worked in the same kitchen on the premises for over 11 years and has amassed quite a following. Regular customers love it when he makes a guest appearance in the front-of-house and does his rounds at the tables.

When Riana isn’t helping Lee in the kitchen, she is out front (joined by Danie) serving tables and making new friends.

When asked what sets their establishment apart, Riana says they are a resting place along the road offering more than just coffee. Their clients are friends who become family.
