Slide guitar, harmonica, African blues guitar stylings and soul vocals all feature in the fresh roots sound of SA legend/singer-songwriter, Robin Auld. Well known to SA audiences from hits like "All of Woman", "Zen Surfing" and "Baby you been good", his music over the years has evolved from the pop-rock sound of his early recordings to the contemporary mix of blues and roots that makes his sound today. He has released over twenty albums, the last decade's output being through his own label "Shoreline Songs".

Robin Auld is without a doubt one of South Africa's premier singer-songwriters, a house hold name and highly regarded not only amongst his fans but fellow musicians alike. Slide guitar, harmonica, African blues guitar stylings and soul vocals all feature in the fresh roots sound of this acclaimed artist. He has released over 20 albums with many radio hits such as 'All of Woman' and 'Baby you've been good', including a number one and several top twenty songs in South Africa. 

After the official launch at The Fugard Theatre in Cape Town, Robin's brand new album, "Back of the line", has received rave reviews nationwide. Writing in the Joburg star, top rock journalist, Therese Owen referred to it as 'A splendid album with both musical and lyrical depth'. 

Cape Town-based Auld has performed and recorded in Cape Town, New York, London, California, Glasgow and Nashville, opening and performing for International acts such as Lloyd Cole, Angelique Kidjo, Jackson Brown, Michelle Shocked, Osibisa, Mud Morganfield and Seasick Steve as well as collaborating and playing with many of SA's finest musicians such as Arno Carstens, Karen Zoid, Albert Frost, David Kramer to mention but a few. 

His live shows, whether solo acoustic or with his dynamic electric trio, presents a mix of his old hits, contemporary material and interpretations of classics. A musical experience designed to enthuse and uplift!
