Class of 2018
Our 2018 class at Pringle House Eco School.
Pringle House Eco School is a Pringle Bay based school offering nursery care and schooling up to grade five in the Hangklip-Kleinmond area. The school is small and closely follows the CAPS (Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements) education system while incorporating the philosophy of sustainability in their syllabus. Part of WESSA (Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa), Pringle House Eco School has also developed their own education system called the Pringle House Education System. This system centres around the learners mental, emotional and physical needs to develop each learner holistically. Classes are small, allowing the experienced teachers to attend to each learner individually and give them the loving attention and guidance they deserve. Upon enrolment, each child gets assessed so that they are placed into the correct class where they are regularly assessed throughout the year to monitor their progress. Parents will receive bi-annual reports on their child's progress.

Pringle House Eco School has been educating children since 2008 and has been driving the holistic development of their learners by following three key developmental principles: emotional development, intellectual development and physical development.
The teachers and staff at the school are all qualified educators with kind hearts. They genuinely care for each and every one of the children in their class and want to see them grow and reach their full potential.
Pringle House Eco School brings more than just down to earth education to the kids of Hangklip-Kleinmond. Sport is an important facet of a child’s schooling career and the school recognises this by providing the following sports and extramural activities during and after school.
Additional sports and activities are offered by independent providers in the area.
Throughout the year Pringle House Eco School organises educational projects and outings that their children take part in to not only teach them the benefits of taking care of the environment, but also just so they can have some fun.
Pringle House Eco School is currently renting the space they use to educate their children. The goal is to one day own that property. If you wish to contribute towards their goal and make a donation, contact them directly.
