Lyn and Mark Krebser hail from Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) in the Eastern Cape.
After visiting and falling in love with Stanford, Lyn and Mark decided to relocate to the village. They opened La Cantina Stanford and La Casita Stanford Self-Catering at the beginning of 2023.
When asked what they love most about Stanford, the couple says the authentic village atmosphere and friendly community won their hearts. The outdoor country landscape is also a bonus, and exploring the countryside when they are not entertaining guests is a repeat adventure!
La Cantina Stanford’s delicious secrets lie in the traditional wood-fired pizza oven.
At La Cantina, the menu is all about quality ingredients! Grade-A beef, pork, chicken, and farm-fresh vegetables served with guacamole, sour cream, and signature sauces, add heat and authentic Mexican flavour!
La Cantina Stanford has two big-screen TVs for live sporting events.
