This year will see the 13th annual Penguin Plunge in Stanford!
Join us in taking the Plunge into the icy Klein River, all in the name of charity. There’ll be delicious hot soups, fresh bread, and hot chocolate - provided by our local restaurants - to warm you up afterwards. Maybe even a little Gluhwein...
Dress up in something bright, colourful, silly - you decide!
If plunging isn’t for you, please come along and cheer the intrepid Penguins on. For a donation, you can also enjoy something to warm the tummy, so bring some extra cash along.
When: Saturday, 24th June 2023
Time: 11h30 for 12h00
Where: The bank of the Klein River at the bottom of King Street
How much: A donation
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to our soup kitchens for children and the elderly, so please come along and support us. Should you be unable to be here on the day but would like to show your support, monetary donations into our bank account would be most welcome!

We appreciate the ongoing support from our community and look forward to continued collaboration for the betterment of Stanford.
As one year ends and we usher in the next, it is generally a time for reflection.
Here we are in July already! The winter cold certainly arrived early in an extremely wet way.
We have a short quieter period during March and April which means we can do some fun things such as plan our last raffle prizes for the season.
For many children who live in shacks with no safe heating at all, winter is not fun.
