Things to Do Places to Eat

We are very excited about the diverse exhibitions and products for sale at all the various stalls this year. We have been inundated with enquiries of product suppliers who have heard about the expediential growth of our show and wanted to be a part of the success story. Come and support the stallholders exhibiting their goods and products and have a lot of fun doing so!

Our food court has been bursting at the seams, it has been very difficult to accommodate everyone that wanted to be part of this very exciting and tasty section of the show (excuse the pun). There will be something for everyone’s taste, big and small are welcome. Bring the whole family, in fact bring the whole family and the cat, dog or any other pet, exotic or not.

Program

WEDNESDAY

Don’t miss the parade on Wednesday starting at 14h30 at the museum and following the main road, ending at the showgrounds. This promises to be the biggest and best ever, even a ox wagon will be seen in the parade.

THURSDAY

Thursday night is the annual 'slaglamveiling' free entry. You will be able to purchase packs of meat. You will even be able to bid on an ox quarter!

FRIDAY

SATURDAY

On Saturday see the championships in the main arena as well as many other exciting happenings in the other smaller arenas on the grounds, such as the youth show, pet shows etc. For the red meat lovers the steak meals at the “wyntuin” is a very popular choice. Saturday evening we have two very popular Afrikaans singers performing namely Bok van Blerk and Snotkop. If you have never heard the names, come and broaden your horizons!!
