Under The Oaks Market is a lovely place true to its name. Its friendly and warm vendors trade their foods/ arts/plants and much else, from under the tall trees fed by the nearby river.
The vibe is amazing with live music that one cannot help but move one's hips and tap one's toes to.
The smells are delicious and one is not sure whether to follow one's nose towards the cheese and mushroom pancakes or the Boere Koffie but if you wish for more "powa" you may choose really delicious and squeezed right there and then, smoothies of all kinds. That is if you can resist the pancake next door drizzled with home made orange liqueur or filled with wood smoked red peppers!!! Paintings, Pictures, Sculptures, Beautiful Proteas, Liquid Enzymes and a mountain of Books sold at R 5 each. Stuff made of beautiful woods for your home and kitchen and and and...
