Leather Repairs and Custom Leatherwork Gansba...
Meet Mike Kemp, a skilled leather craftsman based in De Kelders, Gansbaai.
A great thing about the Overberg is the folks that live here, the communities. So when these charismatic communities get together you can be sure that they host some of the best events around. And when you combine great events with stunning settings, you’re sure to have a good time.
One such event, hosted along the scenic Cape Whale Coast, is the Pringle Bay Village Festival. Stretching over the long-weekend of 29 to 30 April, the event is hosted in the coastal town of Pringle Bay at the foot of the Hangklip Mountains and surrounded by the beauty of the Kogelberg Nature Reserve. We suggest you take Clarence Drive to and from the festival to experience the panoramic beauty of the coastline.

Now in its 3rd year, the festival holds a wide variety of entertainment and thrills for the senses. Join in the fun and experience wine tastings hosted by local wine farms, live music, artistic works by local artists, delicious food on-the-go, entertainment for the kids, a dog show and lots more. The festivities kick off on Saturday morning with the monthly walk/run – be sure not to miss it!

In the event that you can’t make it to the Village Festival, be sure to keep an eye on another facilitator of festivaities, PeriGators. This friendly pub and restaurant host a variety of events and local artists throughout the year. This coupled with their tasty wood-fired pizzas, child-friendly garden and big screens for sports events viewing, this is one spot to definitely stop by when visiting Pringle Bay.
Here are some of the events they’ll be hosting soon:
