L’Agulhas Bowls Club was founded in the early 1990s and welcomes both experienced lawn-bowls players and newcomers to join them for friendly competitive matches and relaxed social events. The club has 60 members to date and caters for men and women of all ages. Club days are Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays when teams play against one another followed by celebratory sundowners in the club’s fully licensed bar. Three qualified coaches are on-hand to help beginners acquire lawn-bowls skills and to help existing players up their game. Non-members are invited to a no obligation introductory lesson that is a great opportunity for finding out more about the game and the social calendar that the club members enjoy throughout the year. For added bowling satisfaction L'Agulhas Bowls Club provide floodlit bowling greens for evening play. The club seats a total of 120 guests and it is available for function hire.

Function Hire

The spacious venue has a fully fitted kitchen that is stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils needed for catering purposes.

There is crockery, cutlery, glassware and tablecloths as well as seating at tables for 120 people.  

The fully licensed bar comes with the services of trained bar staff and the venue is cleaned by the club after your event.
