CABA AGM - March 2025
Thank you to all who attended our Annual General Meeting at the Arniston Spa Hotel. Here's a quick overview:
• Chairman’s Report: We're focusing on growing membership and improving event attendance with more valuable speaker sessions. Issues raised with the municipality include the Napier mine, stormwater damage, solar levy, and road upgrades. Employment compliance and crime prevention are key focus areas going forward.
• Finances: A R15 membership fee increase was approved. The budget aims to support members and prepare for emergencies.
• Committee Update: Two new members joined - Bond Fryer and Niel Van Der Sandt. Portfolios to be assigned at the next meeting.
• Guest Speakers: Thanks to Michael Rautenbach, Standard Bank, and Carl Reiche for their valuable input.
Waldo Strydom closed with a call to strengthen our network and encourage more business participation.
