The latest Hoërskool Bredasdorp / Bredasdorp High School newsletter is out, featuring school news, achievements, culture, sport and important upcoming dates.

Highlights include:

Robotics Regional Competition - the school’s Junior RoboMission team competed at UWC, gaining valuable experience in building and programming autonomous robots.

Outstanding cultural achievements - learners achieved excellent results at the national round of the Allegretto Eisteddfod, including medal, trophy and Top 10 awards across music, dance, speech and art.

Protea Colours for Dance - the MaDFun Dance Creative Advanced group achieved second place at the SABOD National Championships and has been selected to represent South Africa at the International Dance Organisation World Hip Hop Championships in Poland in October.

Sporting success - HSB recorded a strong set of rugby results against Hoërskool Overberg, with several teams securing wins.

Hockey highlights - the U14A boys finished the season unbeaten, while several other teams also recorded wins and draws.

RCL leadership - congratulations to Nina Terblanche, Cleon Summers and Whalied Fortune on being elected to the 2026/2027 RCL.
