Bredasdorp High School Newsletter 22 | 2026

It’s been another exciting week at Hoërskool Bredasdorp / Bredasdorp High School, with learners achieving excellent results in both culture and sport.

Culture: Our learners excelled at the RATEM Eisteddfod, earning numerous gold, silver and bronze awards. Congratulations to all participants, with special recognition to Malienke van Wyk, who was also selected for publication in INKSPRAAK 7.

Hockey: Congratulations to our learners selected for the various Cape Town Premier Hockey League teams.

Kickboxing: Well done to Grade 9 learner Chloe Jooste, who won two silver medals at the Tricore Martial Arts Competition.

Cricket: Congratulations to the learners selected for the Overberg Eagles teams.

The school also raised an impressive R250,000 at its annual Wine & Lifestyle Auction, with funds going towards the sports centre and further development of sports facilities.

Well done to all our learners and staff on these achievements!
