It's that time of the week again! Bringing you the latest news and updates about Bredasdorp and its surroundings.
Choose a theme and go for it, discover the Overberg as you go along... from Robertson to Fort Beaufort and then off to Bredasdorp across the Breede rivier with the Malgas Pont.
Why not follow in the footsteps left behind by the “Kadie”? The Kadie arrived from Scotland where she was built in 1859 and sailed the seas for 6 odd years between Cape Agulhas and Cape Town, branching off to follow the Breede River from Port Beaufort to Malgas and back again.
She was wrecked in 1865. What was left of her, can still be viewed in and around several towns from Port Beaufort to Bredasdorp and Robertson.
Also visit the Malgas Pont on the Breede where she passed by many a time. Take a round trip and enjoy the countryside.
