Puppies for Adoption
Looking for a new furry family member?
At the end of March, BARC received a phone call about a badly neglected Maltese, Sussie. Nols investigated and promptly removed the dog.
The first plan of action was to wash and shave the dog. A big shout out to Gail's Groomers who took on this task only to make the shocking discovery of an open festered wound on her leg.
Nols immediately took her to the Hermanus vet hospital but unfortunately it was already too late to save her leg, it had to be amputated. Sussie also had to undergo two eye surgeries for a badly infected eye.
We do believe that all her problems are now something of the past. Unfortunately, her vet account came to R15,000. BARC urgently needs assistance to help settle this account. If you want to contribute, here are the details.

This is just one case, BARC owes more money for Hermanus Animal Hospital services, we appeal to the public for support and bless you for any donation.
Sussie's story has fortunately, a very happy end. The wonderful people who cared for Sussie after her operations, decided to adopt her. She now has a forever loving home.
This is the lasting difference that BARC can bring about with your kind assistance.
