Looking for a Loving Home
This quirky little face is just over a year old and hoping to find that special someone to take him/her home.
While many people are planning delicious menus for the festive season’s celebrations with family and friends, there are many members of the community who aren’t sure where their next meal will come from.
To begin, the BARC team wants to thank everyone for their ongoing support. Times are tough so knowing that people still want to share the little they have doesn’t go unnoticed.
Unfortunately, the pantry at BARC is just about empty again and with 16 fully-grown dogs, six adult cats, eight boisterous puppies and 24 playful kittens to feed, this is a big dilemma for the organisation.
All donations of pet food or cash to buy pet food will be greatly appreciated by the extended BARC family. To fill the tummies of the dog and cat residents is no easy task when the food stores are bare, so every pellet counts. If you aren’t sure what to buy, call BARC directly so they can tell you what is most needed. Alternatively, The Pet Grocer in Gansbaai offers discounts to customers who shop for BARC, on bulk buys. These purchases are conveniently collected from the shop and delivered to the BARC kennel which means you can make your donation from anywhere in South Africa, or anonymously.
