World Endangered Species Day is observed on the 3rd Friday of May each year. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about species that are at risk of extinction. The IUCN Red List is a valuable resource that helps in this effort.

Did you know that over 44,000 species are threatened with extinction?

In particular, 37% of all shark and ray species are facing extinction!

Let's use today to spread awareness for endangered species!
