Dogs of War Overberg's Cancer Fundraiser Even...
Local biker club, The Dogs of War Overberg, a local biker club, is gearing up for an extraordinary fundraising event this Saturday, 21st October.
Gansbaai showed their 'gees' and we all reasied over R10,000 for this worthy cause. It was clear that cancer was a cause close to our hearts as it has affected all of us in one way or another. We are now able to make a difference in our community as the donations rasied are going to families affected by cancer in our town that desperately need our help. Funds were also handed over to Hospice Gansbaai and dogs Of War is still involved with some of the families involved.
Thank you to our other motocycle clubs in the area that all supported - Villians, Renovatio and SMC Hermanus. Thumbs up to all the president's for shaving your heads for the cause!
Further thanks go to the venues where the shave or spray took place - Kuslangs, Buitesteen and Oppidek - who showed their support by making their venues available.
Once again, a big thank you to our Gansbaai community who ensure dthis was a successful findraiser. Next year let's take this even bigger!

Dogs Of War are requesting assistance from the public for donations of any wheelchairs, crutches, and or walkers that you may have laying around.
