Drugs, the never-ending story.
An operation was conducted in Gansbaai with the Flying Squad and the District Task Teams where 137 whole mandrax tablets were found after information was followed-up. A 23-year-old female was arrested and appeared in court on Thursday, 25 April 2024.
Bredasdorp SAPS executed a search warrant during a successful operation. Dealing in drugs, mandrax tablets and dagga was confiscated. One arrest was made, and the suspect appeared in court on Monday, 29 April 2024.
Recently a high-density operation was conducted in Gansbaai. During the search police recovered full mandrax tablets with a street value of R32 500. A suspect was arrested and appeared in the Hermanus court for bail application on Monday, 29 April 2024.
Police is encouraging community members to report criminal behaviour suspected in their neighbourhood.
