This week’s edition of Gans-Berg News features several community stories and local developments from Gansbaai and the surrounding Overberg region.
Jan and Doreen Barnard say goodbye after nearly three decades of owning Bayview Discount Furnishers, thanking the community for years of loyal support as the business changes ownership. The well-known South African musician Anton Goosen celebrated his 80th birthday, sharing reflections on his life and career with the community.
Other highlights include the opening of the newly transformed Nedbank digital branch in Gansbaai, the eighth anniversary celebration of the popular Gansbaai Market, and a book launch by local author Natalie-Dominique Louw.
