"It is in your hands to make a better world for all who live in it". (Nelson Mandela")
The Gansbaai CPF executive committee decided to make one of their projects a working one and took up the challenge by painting and upgrading the play equipment at the park next to the community centre in Masakhane. This project was in lieu of Mandela Day 18 July 2022 due to everyone working on Monday.
Four members of the executive committee spent Saturday 16 July 2022 painting the equipment with paint sponsored by the Gansbaai area manager, Kat Myburgh.
They also collected and disposed of the rubbish lying around. The children watched and could not wait to play on the brightly coloured jungle gyms.
The upgrade and making it pretty will continue on Saturday 23 July 2022. The members felt that it is important to paint and upgrade all the equipment and anyone who wishes to be part of this project, they are to contact Chairperson Julia Barlow at 082 332 6634.
