In Gansbaai, where community spirit runs deep, local businesses are stepping up to show their appreciation.
Gansbaai Build It will be hosting their first ever Netball Day with six Overstrand netball teams competing in the tournament.
All the players participating in the Gansbaai Build it Netball Day will receive a goodie bag and the winning teams will receive bags, t-shirts, netball balls and Spar Gift Voucher gift vouchers.
There will be two mini-tournaments for adults and children. The adult teams will play two matches lasting 30 minutes each and the schools team will play one. The points system will work as follows: Win = 3, Draw = 2, Lost = 1. The difference in goals will also be taken into account.
The aim of this exciting event is to create a family fun-filled sports day that will bring the community together. The mood will be festive and there will be food and drink stalls.
