The Key Characteristics of Gōjū-ryū Karate
Gōjū-ryū Karate stands out for its balanced approach, blending strength with fluidity.
Our annual grading in Wellington was, as always, a memorable experience for everyone. It was a day filled with effort, learning, and celebration, a true display of the Goju Ryu Karate values.
We are so proud of our students for their dedication and hard work. A big thank you to Henry Paulse for hosting us and to Waseelah Hercules for her ongoing support.
Our Karate journey in Gansbaai started with two amazing people, Myron Temmers and Ethan Simpson. These boys have worked really hard, and it shows every time they take part in a grading.
Recently, they achieved new milestones:
• Myron Temmers: Purple Belt
• Ethan Simpson: Purple Level 3 Belt

As we celebrate these achievements, we look forward to growing even more as a team and as individuals. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, Goju Ryu Karate Gansbaai welcomes you to join this exciting journey.
Keep practising, keep improving, and keep moving forward!
