Terrific Tuesday: GGAP Returns to Brighten Ga...
GGAP is back after a well-deserved winter break, and it's time to roll up our sleeves...
WHAT AN INCREDIBLE GGAP MEMORY!
Monday, 20 May 2024 is a day to remember for the Gorgeous Gansbaai ARTS Project, the start of something beautiful!
We’re thrilled to share that the Bed Shop wall is now being plastered and prepped for our first mural, which will begin in late June (after the plaster dries). This is a huge step forward in bringing colour and creativity to our town!
A big thank you to our incredible NATION BUILDERS:
• Justin Theunissen - for the plasterers
• Pierre and Laurette Nel - for donating some cement and Sikalite
• Build It - for the sand
• Buco - for the rest of the cement
• Glenda Kitley - for securing municipal permission
• All local artists and helpers - especially Antje! DANKIE!
Our first murals are coming in June at: Kaliko, Seef and the Bed Shop - we can’t wait to get started!
Thank you to Thys Geyser for gifting the first tin of paint - we’re still in need of more. If you’d like to donate paint, we’d love to hear from you!
This is just the beginning - Gansbaai is getting gorgeous!
With thanks,
The GGAP Team - Louise Swart, Laurette Nel and Glenda Kitley
