Frail Care Unit 

Herberg-aan-See has a wing in the main building that includes a frail care unit with dorm-style wards. 

The frail care unit supports those with reduced mobility and temporary recovery needs.

Residents are grouped according to their level of care. In most cases, individuals with similar physical and cognitive needs live together. This helps ensure that everyone receives the appropriate support in a comfortable and understanding environment.

• Furnished with hospital beds and bedside tables
• Most rooms in the unit have a television

Application Requirements

Herberg-aan-See welcomes those aged 60 and over who are looking for a caring and supportive place to call home.

Should an application be successful, the following information must be submitted on original documents supplied by Herberg-aan-See:

• Financial Income
• Expenditure Statement
• Medical Health Report (issued by a doctor)
• Church Clerical or Welfare Worker Report

Fund Raising

The residents and staff at Herberg-aan-See are involved in various fundraising initiatives throughout the year, including various community bazaars.
