A Special Visitor at Herberg aan See

There is always something to look forward to at Herberg aan See, and one of the highlights of the week is Malinka’s visit.

Malinka is a trained and registered Pet Therapy Dog who visits us every week with her owner and trainer, Roenel Swart. Her visits are always met with plenty of excitement, affection and, of course, a few happy licks!

Malinka has quickly become a much-loved visitor at Herberg aan See. Her gentle nature and friendly personality bring smiles to the residents and make her weekly visits something special to look forward to.

Celebrating Women

Last year, we hosted a beautiful Women’s Day function at Panorama Wedding Venue as part of our annual fundraising efforts.

The theme was “Ek is genoeg”, and our guest speaker was the wonderful Lizz Meiring. It was a lovely day celebrating women, their stories and the important role they play in our families and communities.

The event also gave us an opportunity to celebrate one of our own board members, Nicolene Richards, owner of Richards Attorneys in Gansbaai. Nicolene was recently honoured as the winner of the “Woman of Power” award, a wonderful achievement that we are proud to celebrate with her.
